Staff Appreciation
While our primary focus is on our students, we firmly believe helping support our school staff ultimately helps support our students. When teachers and school staff feel supported and appreciated, they are better able to take care of our students and give them the best possible experience in school.
SoWashCo CARES provides funding for classroom needs, as well as activities that recognize the hard work of teachers and other district staff.
Classroom Grants
We recently implemented a new classroom grant program where district staff can apply for funding up to $2500 to support a special project.
Gifts/Awards
The SoWashCo CARES community provides coffee and lunch gift cards as small tokens of appreciation for school staff throughout the year.
Events
SoWashCo CARES sponsors staff appreciation events including the New School Year Kick-off in August and the end of the year Employee Banquet in May, in addition to other tokens of appreciations throughout the year.
